General Information

Majestically situated in the Scottish Highlands, within 5 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, Glenspean Lodge has for many years, been a famous landmark in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Originally, built in the 1880s as a private hunting lodge, for Laird Macintosh of Macintosh, the property has been sensitively added to over the years and extensively refurbished. Today, the Lodge can be described as classically luxurious with modern amenities, to meet standards of even the most demanding guest.

The views from the Mountain Room Bedrooms at the front of the hotel, more so from the Nevis View restaurant, are unparallel in local dramatic beauty with panoramas down the Spean Valley, to the Nevis Range and one of it's famous peaks Aonach Mor.

The hotel can be described as a small luxury hotel, nestled in some of the most dramatic scenery in the centre of the Scottish Highlands.

Our aim is to make you feel as welcome, relaxed and comfortable as possible during your stay with us at the Glenspean Lodge.

We are also very proud of our cuisine that is on offer in the Nevis View restaurant and for more casual dining in the Mackintosh Lounge Bar. Our reputation is to provide world-class meals using only the best local produce available to us. We try and make everything we can here at Glenspean Lodge, right down to the freshly cooked home-made breads, pates and delightful desserts that will make your mouth water.

The majority of our staff are locals, which we believe is important as many of guests come to Glenspean Lodge to enjoy the Scottish Highlands and meet Scottish people, and so our staff can provide you with guidance on where to go and the many interesting things to see in the area.

Most importantly, is service and we are very much aware that no matter how pretty a place can look or luxurious it is, unless you as our valued guest feel that you have been well looked after, then it could all be to no avail. That is why we regard service to our guests as extremely important.
We sincerely hope that you find these web pages informative and that you will come and stay with us at Glenspean Lodge in the not too distant future.
